2012 speaking schedule:

January 11, 2012 – William Jessup University RA leadership team visits my home for a day of reflection and prayer and team leadership planning.

January 12, 2012 – Forest Lake Christian School – Parent Meeting – Talking about how we as parents can help navigate our teens through the turbulent years of adolescence toward adulthood.

February 22, 2012 – Forest Lake Christian School – Chapel – “Weeding Out Bad Habits” is the requested topic. Addressing what roots and grounds us so the choices we make honor the identity God has given us.

March 8, 2012 - William Jessup University, Rocklin, CA – Youth Ministry Counseling class – talking about how youthworkers can come alongside and help those involved in self-injury.

March 28-April 3, 2012 – Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference, Mount Hermon, CA – Teaching a pre-conference Head Start nonfiction mentoring clinic, a conference nonfiction mentoring clinic, and meeting with writers as part of the conference critique team.

April 24, 2012 – MOPS, Grass Valley, CA – A morning conversation with moms about what it is to be creative and believe that you are. We’ll have hands-on fun with creative ways to have one-on-one time with your children.

January 13 – William Jessup University, Rocklin, CA – Student leadership training in using coaching tools in mentoring and leading.

March 10 – William Jessup University, Rocklin, CA – Youth Ministry Counseling class – how youthworkers can come alongside and help those involved in self-injury

April 13-19 – Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference – Jan is facilitating nonfiction mentoring clinics prior to and during the main conference in addition to offering her workshop on Writer’s Sanity & Self-Care.

March 1st, 2010 – 5:00pm CST – Real Life Radio Network, She Speaks to Inspire

March 24-30, 2010 – Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference
Jan is a mentor-instructor for one of their preconference Head Start Mentoring Clinics for Nonfiction Writers
Working on faculty and staff for main conference.

April 15, 2010 – William Jessup University, Gender Studies class – addressing self-injury within context of gender differences and ministry

April 16,2010 – Christian Encounter Ministries – talking with teen/ya girls about mother-daughter relationships and creating a strong legacy

April 29, 2010 – Sacramento Area Children’s Ministry Network – Jan talks about Internet use and addictions, including how parents and children and youth ministry workers can encourage healthy Internet activity.

July 23, 2010 – Airbrushed by God – Teen Girl Conference, Richmond, CA – Jan will be giving her workshop, Friday Night Lies, getting the conversation going with teen girls, ages 11-17, about true intimacy versus false intimacy.

August 4, 2010 – Bridgeway Christian Church, Rocklin, CA- As part of Soul Care’s workshop series for families, Jan’s workshop addresses parenting conversations for difficult life transitions.

September 17, 2010 – Bridgeway Christian Church, Rocklin, CA – Coaching for Transformative Impact – An introductory seminar in coaching tools used for transformational impact

October 2, 2010 – Sierra Foothills Christian Writers Conference, Auburn, CA – Jan will be offering three workshops for writers, The Power of Story in YA Nonfiction (2 parts) and also Interview for Impact for All Your Writing

October 2 – November 6, 2010 – Bridgeway Christian Church, Rocklin, CA – Faith Coach Training Series

November 19 – Christian Encounter Ministries - getting the dialogue going with teen/ya girls about identity, self-image, and godly leadership

December 1 – William Jessup University – Jan teams up with her daughter Sarah to present a workshop to the student leadership team, incorporating coaching tools into the Kouzes and Posner model of leadership
